Gita Bdr Shrestha is a young Tourism entrepreneur who manages Precious Adventures Pvt. Ltd, a Kathmandu based trekking and travel company. Born in 1983 and grew up in the region of the Everest, where some of the world's highest peaks including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho-Oyu, are located. He completed his schooling in Solukhumbu.
Studying religions, Buddhism, and Himalayan cultures, as inspired by his father, would have exposed Gita to diverse beliefs and practices. It may have helped him develop a more open-minded and accepting attitude towards different cultures and religions.
After completing his schooling, he joined the trekking field.He continued his study and working in the Tourism field together, and completed his master's degree in the field of Himalayan studies. It is the study of Culture,tradition, History of Himalayan region including Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal and India.
He is always curious to know more about the nature, culture, tradition and practices of Himalayan people including Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Ladakh. He has been continuously involved in the field of tourism for many years, exploring and discovering the secrets of the Himalayas.
He has visited most parts of the Himalayan region including Tibet, India, Nepal and Bhutan, as well as European countries like Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Gita Bahadur Shrestha is a well-trained and experienced tourism professional. He has completed several trainings to hone his skills and provide the best service to his clients. Some of his notable trainings include:
1. MA in Buddhism and Himalayan studies: Gita Bahadur Shrestha has a Master's degree in Buddhism and Himalayan studies. This provides him with a deep understanding of the culture, religion, and history of the Himalayan region, which enables him to provide his clients with a more informative and meaningful experience.
